Baseball Series vs. Duke Relocated
March 23, 2015 | Baseball
Chestnut Hill, Mass. - Due to the record-breaking snowfall in Boston, the Boston College baseball team's three-game Atlantic Coast Conference series against Duke, schedule to be played at The Heights, will take place at the University of Delaware in Newark, Del.
Friday's and Saturday's game will begin at 1 p.m. and first pitch on Sunday will be noon.
The Eagles (6-13, 1-7 ACC) and Blue Devils (18-6, 4-5 ACC) will meet for the ninth series, all coming since BC joined the ACC in 2006. BC holds a 13-11 advantage over Duke in the series meetings, but the Blue Devils swept the series the last time the two teams faced off - in Durham in 2013.
BC will play local rivals Northeastern on Tuesday and Holy Cross on Wednesday before making the trip to Delaware. The Eagles and Huskies (7-12) will battle at Friedman Diamond in Brookline, Mass., and BC will travel to Northborough to take on the Crusades (5-13) at the New England Baseball Complex.
