Freshman Q&A: James Walsh

Chestnut Hill, Mass. - Redshirt freshman left-hander James Walsh joins the Boston College baseball team after playing one year of football at BC in 2013. He did not see any game action on the gridiron and received a redshirt for the season.
The Dublin, Ohio, native tallied a 16-5 record over three years with a 2.56 ERA, four shutouts and 115 strikeouts over 131.1 innings at Dublin Coffman High School. He earned first-team all-Ohio Capital Conference honors and all-region accolades. He threw a no-hitter in a 10-0 Shamrocks' victory in 2012 and was ranked as one of the top pitchers in Ohio in the 2013 class by prepbaseballreport.com.
