HOW IT HAPPENED
- Notre Dame made the first run of the game when it scored nine unanswered points to take a 16-7 lead with 12:14 on the clock.
- Trailing by seven, Boston College went on a quick 8-2 run to cut its deficit to 26-25. Hanlan scored six of the points with a pair of 3-pointers.
- The Irish responded immediately with a 9-3 spurt that made it a 37-28 lead with 1:34 left in the half.
- Notre Dame held a 37-32 halftime lead.
- The Irish were ahead, 45-41, and then went on a 17-7 run to build their lead to 62-48 with 10:12 left in the game. The run lasted 5:14.
- The Eagles could not get it under double digits the rest of the way.
