HOW IT HAPPENENED
- Boston College charged to a 4-1 lead early in the first half, with a pair of goals from Rix, one from Margolis and one from junior midfielder Sarah Mannelly.
- Johns Hopkins controlled possession later in the half, and scored four straight goals to gain their first lead of the game.
- The Blue Jays headed into halftime with a 5-4 lead.
- The Eagles scored five unanswered goals to pull away from the Blue Jays, 9-5, in the second half.
- Margolis scored another two goals, while senior attacker Covie Stanwick and sophomore midfielders Tess Chandler and Laura Frankenfield each scored one goal apiece.
