The Eagles are currently 9-1 after a, 66-55, victory over UMass Lowell on Sunday, Dec. 20 at Conte Forum. The story for the Eagles was the support from the bench as senior Alexa Coulombe, r-junior Kailey Edwards and junior Emilee Daley provided the spark to lead the Eagles to victory. The three combined for 15 points, eight assists, six steals and six rebounds while turning the ball over just once. BC's bench outscored Lowell, 29-15. Freshman Mariella Fasoula led the team with 12 points while three players had nine points - Nicole Boudreau, Kelly Hughes and Katie Quandt.
The 9-1 start for the Eagles is the best start for the program since the 2010-11 season. That BC's team first loss came against Michigan on Dec. 22nd at home.
Northeastern is now 5-5 after a tough loss to Canisius, 68-57, on Monday, Dec. 27. The Huskies were led by rookie point guard Jess Genco with 11 points and six assists.

BC vs. NORTHEASTERN
- BC leads the overall series, 15-13. The Eagles are 16-6 at home and 3-8 at Northeastern. This will be the first time BC has played at Northeastern since the 2002 season. BC defeated the Huskies, 86-48, on the road.

- BC fans attending the game will see a number of familiar faces as former Eagles assistant coach Kelly Cole is now the head coach of the Huskies. Cole has also hired former Eagles sharp-shooter Kindyll Dorsey as an assistant coach on staff.
- Dorsey is best known for hitting 6-of-10 from the three-point arc for 24 points as the Eagles stunned No. 1 seeded Ohio State, 79-69 on March 21, 2006 in the Albuquerque Regional (2nd round) of the NCAA Tournament.

- Rookie Mariella Fasoula was named ACC Rookie of the Week the first week of December for her career-high 23 point performance at Purdue.
- Seniors Nicole Boudreau and Alexa Coulombe will serve as the team captains for the 2015-16 season. This is Boudreau's second season as a team captain and Coulombe's first.
- Junior Kelly Hughes needs just 91 points to join the 1,000 point club. She will be the 26th player in program history to reach the plateau. Her fellow classmate, Emilee Daley, needs just 89 points to reach 500 career points.
- Boston College is third in the ACC and 33rd in the country in assist-turnover ratio (1.17). The Eagles are also second in the conference and 19th in the country in team assists per game (18.1).
- The Eagles are sixth in the country in scoring defense (49.4) and seventh in 3-point field goal defense (23.0). In both categories, BC is second in the ACC

- Boston College is currently 5-0 at home. It is the first time BC has been undefeated at home since the 2010-11 season (6-0). The Eagles still have one more home game left in 2015 as BC will host Bryant on Dec. 30.
- Junior Kelly Hughes leads BC, is second in the ACC and 20th in the country in three-pointers per game (3.00). She is also second in the conference and 30th in the country in 3-point field goal percentage (45.5%). Hughes is fourth in three's made and 45th (30 total) in the country.
- BC held Hartford to just 28 points in the victory on Dec. 9. It marked the first time BC has held a team to under 30 points since the 2006 season. That year the Eagles defeated Longwood, 85-29, on Jan. 22, 2006.
- The Eagles bench is averaging 25.6 points and 15.6 rebounds a game. The subs are shooting 45 percent from the floor and handing out 6.9 assists per game.
- The bench has out-scored the opponents bench in nine of the 10 games this season. The scoring leaders off the bench are Mariella Fasoula at 10.5 points per game but she has been moved to the starting position. Junior Emilee Daley continues to be the offensive spark off the bench at 7.4 points per game. She also averages 3.3 rebounds and has 14 steals. Kailey Edwards is right behind Daley with a 5.9 point per game average, 21 assists and 2.4 rebounds per game.
- The Eagles shot season-high 56 percent from the floor vs. UNH on Dec. 6. BC had a season-low three three-pointers but a season-high 48 points in the paint.
- Alexa Coulombe earned her first start of the season, eight overall, vs. UNH. She finished with six points and three boards.

- In the 2005-06 season, then No. 24 ranked Boston College defeated No. 14 Stanford, 77-69, behind 15 second half points from Aja Parham. She also had seven rebounds. Senior Brooke Queenan led BC with 23 points and Kathrin Ress chipped in with 12 points and five boards. BC shot 23-for-26 from the foul line in the game. The starting lineup for that game was Brooke Queenan, Aja Parham, Kathrin Ress, Sarah Marshall and Kindyll Dorsey.
