Senior walk-on gets scholarship for final semester
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Boston College senior walk-on guard Steve Perpiglia was given a full scholarship for his final semester after the Eagles defeated Fordham on Tuesday evening at the Barclays Center.
Head Coach Jim Christian announced the scholarship to the team in the locker room following BC's third-straight victory. More than 100 family and friends made the trip to Brooklyn to watch Perpiglia play. Christian also announced the news to his supporters that were still in the arena.
Perpiglia has appeared in 29 games in his career.
