Enstrom, Kennedy Named Eagles of the Week

Pair honored for performances last week
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Freshman forward Simon Enstrom (men's soccer) and sophomore Isabelle Kennedy (women's cross country) have been named Eagles of the Week.
Enstrom led Boston College with two goals and five points in a pair of matches last week. He scored in the 89th minute in the 2-1 loss at Harvard and then accounted for both goals in BC's 2-1 win over nationally-ranked Syracuse. He notched an assist on Trevor Davock's goal in the 24th minute and then capitalized on a SU miscue in the 38th minute to give the Eagles a 2-1 lead. It proved to be the game-winning goal.
Kennedy finished eighth out of 131 runners to earn All-ACC status at the 2015 ACC Championships. She was the top Eagle finisher, running the course in 20:25.9, 10 seconds faster than her previous best. Boston College finished the championships in sixth place.
Men's soccer (9-6-1, 4-4-0 ACC) travels to Clemson on Sunday for the quarterfinals of the ACC Championship. Women's cross country will host the NCAA Northeast Regional on November 13.
