Eagles In The NFL: Week 8

Kuechly leads former Eagles in Week 8 NFL action
Will Blackmon – DB Washington Redskins
Blackmon and Washington were off in week eight. They will be on the road in New England for their week nine matchup with the undefeated Patriots.
Anthony Castonzo – LT Indianapolis Colts
Castonzo and the Colts fell to the Carolina Panthers 29-26 on Monday Night Football. The starting left tackle has played in every offensive snap this season for the Colts who will look to bounce back from their 3-5 start to the season. They have a tough matchup in week nine at home against the Denver Broncos.
Gosder Cherilus – RT Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Cherilus is the starting right tackle for the Bucs, who managed to pull off an upset win over Matt Ryan and the Atlanta Falcons in week eight. The Bucs won 23-20 in overtime and will look to make it two wins in a row as they face the New York Giants at home in week nine.
Jo-Lonn Dunbar – LB New Orleans Saints
Dunbar had a busy week in the eighth week of the NFL season. Dunbar was released by the St. Louis Rams and then immediately signed by the New Orleans Saints, the organization with which he began his NFL career. He registered one tackle for the Saints in their 52-49 win over the New York Giants in week 8.
Kasim Edebali – LB New Orleans Saints
Edebali welcomed fellow Eagle Dunbar to the LB corps in New Orleans this week. They faced the Giants and Edebali registered three tackles and one sack of Eli Manning in the contest. The Saints came away with the win, 52-49, and will look to extend their winning streak to 4 in a row at home against the Tennessee Titans in week 9.
Andy Gallik – C Tennessee Titans
Gallik is the backup center for the Titans but has been playing in roughly half of the team's offensive snaps for the past three weeks. Gallik and the Titans fell 20-6 to the Houston Texans in week 8 and will look to bounce back against the Saints in week 9.
Matt Hasselbeck – QB Indianapolis Colts
Hasselbeck is the backup QB for the Indianapolis Colts.
Mark Herzlich – LB New York Giants
Herzlich registered one tackle in the Giants 52-49 loss to the Saints in week eight. Herzlich and the Giants will look to bounce back from week eight's high scoring loss in week nine on the road against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Luke Kuechly – LB Carolina Panthers
Kuechly was a force all over the field for the Panthers during their 29-26 win over the Indianapolis Colts on Monday Night Football. Kuechly registered 14 total tackles, with 9 solo stops and 1 tackle for loss, as well as 3 pass deflections and an overtime interception, which led to the game-winning field goal. Kuechly will look to keep his performance up at the All-Pro level he is playing at as the undefeated Panthers faceoff against the 6-1 Green Bay Packers at home in week 9.
Kevin Pierre-Louis – LB Seattle Seahawks
KPL registered one tackle in the Seahawks 13-12 win over the Dallas Cowboys in week eight. He is primarily a special teamer for the Seahawks, who improved to 4-4 on the year with a bye in week 9. The Seahawks will look to improve to above .500 for the first time this year in week 10 against the Arizona Cardinals.
Ryan Quigley – P New York Jets
Quigley punted the ball for times for a total of 182 yards, pinning the Oakland Raiders inside their own 20-yard line once on the day. Quigley and the Jets will face the Jacksonville Jaguars at home in week nine.
B.J. Raji – DL Green Bay Packers
Raji registered two tackles and one pass-deflection in the Packers 29-10 loss to the Denver Broncos. Raji and the Packers will look to get back on the winning track against the Carolina Panthers on the road in week nine.
Matt Ryan – QB Atlanta Falcons
Ryan and the Falcons dropped a close game to Tampa Bay this past Sunday. Ryan threw the ball for 37 completions on 45 attempts for 397 yards, 2 touchdowns and 1 interception. The Falcons turned the ball over four times while the Bucs did not have a single turnover. Matt Ryan and the Falcons will look to protect the ball better and get back in the win column in week nine on the road against the San Francisco 49ers.
Ian Silberman – OL San Francisco 49ers
Silberman is the backup left guard for the San Francisco 49ers. Silberman and the 49ers fell in week eight to the St. Louis Rams 27-6. They will look to bounce back from the loss at home in week nine against the Atlanta Falcons.
Andre Williams – RB New York Giants
Williams carried the ball five times for seven yards in the Giants week eight 52-49 loss to the New Orleans Saints. The Giants are now 4-4 and will look to get back above .500 on the road against Tampa Bay in week 9.
