Eagles Sailing Recap: Week Seven
Boston College competed in three regattas on the weekend of October 31st.
In the 74th Erwin Schell Trophy hosted by MIT, the Eagles finished with 153 points which earned them a share of second place in the A division. The Eagles managed to score 65 points in the B division which was good enough for a share of first place. Charles Sinks and Katherine Downey had good showings for the Eagles in the B division.
The Eagles also competed in the The Victorian Urn Regatta hosted by Harvard. The team finished in second place at the regatta, while finishing in first place of the B division with 46 points, 14 better than second place Vermont.
Boston College also sent sailors to compete in the Nickerson Trophy Regatta hosted by Tufts. The Eagles finished in fifth place in the A division of this regatta, while placing second in the B division.
The Eagles have four regattas coming up next weekend, and only have three weekends until the ICSA Match Race National Championship.
