Eagles look forward to rematch against both squads
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Boston College volleyball will conclude their 2015 road schedule this weekend when the Eagles travel to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and Blacksburg, Virginia for two rematches from earlier this season. This will be the last two road games of the season for the Maroon and Gold before they return home for the final two games of the season next week.

Boston College will conclude their 2015 season with two home games Thanksgiving week at Power Gym. They will welcome top-25 Louisville on Wednesday, Nov. 25 at 1 p.m. before hosting Notre Dame to close out the season on Friday, Nov. 27 at 1 p.m. Both games will be rematches from earlier this season.

- Boston College has faced Pittsburgh 21 times dating back to 1990, and have only beaten the Panthers once. Earlier this season, the Eagles were swept by Pitt at Power Gym.
- In their October 11 match with Pittsburgh, senior Katty Workman tallied a game-high 17 kills while Anna Skold totaled six blocks in the loss.

- Freshman Angela Seman is fifth in digs with an average of 1.22 per set.
- Senior Kadi Kullerkann is sixth amongst ACC players, averaging 3.75 kills per set while junior Jenna Potts averages 1.22 blocks per set, good enough for eighth place in the conference.

- BC faced the Hokies on October 9 for their only game on the Conte Forum floor, with the Eagles dropping the decision 3-0.
- All time, the Maroon and Gold have faced VT 21 times, and have lost their last six games against the Hokies. The last win against Tech came on September 29, 2011-a game the Eagles won 3-0.
- With a record of 6-10 in conference, 10th in the ACC, Virginia Tech sits in the middle of several statistical categories.

- The ACC currently has three teams in the AVCA Top -25 with Louisville (17), Florida State (20), and North Carolina (22).
- Boston College is currently ranked 166 of 334 in RPI, which measures a team's wins and losses in addition to their strength of schedule. That is down from 133 that the team was ranked following games against NC State and North Carolina. The ACC currently has three teams ranked in the top-25 of the RPI. Louisville is ranked at 13, North Carolina at 23 and Florida State at 21 and North Carolina at 24. Miami (35), Pittsburgh (40) and Virginia (51) round out the top six ACC schools in the RPI ranking.
