BC WRAPS UP REGULAR SEASON WITH SYRACUSE
• Boston College will host No. 12 Syracuse on Friday night at 7 p.m. at the Newton Campus Field in the 2015 regular-season finale.
• Syracuse is 7-2-1 in its last 10 matches, including a 2-1 win last weekend up in New York over NC State.
• Boston College has lost its last three, all by one goal. The Eagles lost at Clemson last weekend, 1-0, and then fell at Harvard on Tuesday night, 2-1.
• BC is 15-10-1 all-time against the Orange, but lost last season, 2-1, in Syracuse. The Eagles had won the previous six meetings. Each of the last four matches have been decided by one goal.
BC FALLS AT HARVARD
• Freshman Simon Enstrom scored his team-leading sixth goal of the season in the 89th minute as BC lost at Harvard Tuesday night, 2-1.
• Junior Zeiko Lewis got the assist on the strike and it was his sixth, also a team high.
• Harvard struck first in the 30th minute when Tim Schmoll and Jake Freeman set up Michael Innocenzi on the left side for the first goal of the match.
• Boston College went on the attack after that, forcing the Harvard goalkeeper to make three saves in the next seven minutes.
• The Crimson took the first three shots of the second half and the third one provided the second goal. Justin Crichlow threw a long ball into the box, Daniel Smith touched it and then Oliver White put it home for the 2-0 lead.
• The Harvard goalie made a couple of more saves before BC finally broke through in the 89th minute. Lewis sent in a corner and Enstrom finished it with a header to make it 2-1.
LAST TIME vs. SYRACUSE
• Syracuse's Skylar Thomas scored in double overtime to lead the No. 3 Orange past Boston College, 2-1, on Halloween night last season at the SU Soccer Stadium.
• Diego Medina-Mendez scored his first goal of the season in the 11th minute to give Boston College a 1-0 lead. Alex Kapp was credited with six saves in goal. Syracuse held an 18-6 advantage in shots and had a 14-3 edge in corners.
• Medina-Mendez put the Eagles on the board early when he put home a cross that came in from the left side in the 11th minute.
• Syracuse's Oyvind Alseth was taken down in the box 18 minutes later when the Orange was on the attack. A penalty kick was rewarded and Nick Perea connected to notch the equalizer.
• Syracuse had a 7-2 advantage in shots in the second half but Kapp made four saves to force overtime. Three of those saves came in the last 31 minutes.
• The Orange took six shots in the two overtime periods compared to BC's one. Alex Halis nearly scored the golden goal in the 93rd minute but his shot hit the post and stayed out. Kapp made a save on a Juuso Pasanen header five minutes later to force the second overtime period.
• Syracuse scored the game-winner three minutes into the second overtime. Halis took a shot but it was blocked by a BC defender. The ball fell right to Thomas' foot who hit the back of the net to end the match.
THE GREEN TEAM
• Boston College sports 14 freshmen on its 2015 roster, the most of any team in the ACC.
• North Carolina and Pittsburgh have 11 freshmen on their squads while NC State and Syracuse have 10.
• Ten of the 14 freshmen have seen time on the pitch.
• Freshman Trevor Davock is second on the team in assists (5), and third in goals (4) and points (13) . His three game-winning goals are a team-best.
• Simon Enstrom leads the Eagles with six goals and is second with 14 points.
• Freshmen Derek Lyons and Tommy Garcia-Morillo both scored a goal in a 4-1 win at Virginia Tech.

• He set career highs with two goals and five points in a 3-1 win against Connecticut on September 22.
• He ranks ranks fourth in the ACC in assists and eighth in points.
• Lewis has been a crucial part of the BC offense the last three seasons. His 20 career assists rank fifth all-time at Boston College.
• As a freshman, he earned numerous honors including: NSCAA All-South Atlantic Second Team, ACC Freshman of the Year, All-ACC Second Team, All-ACC Freshman Team and Soccer America All-Freshman First Team.
• Lewis led the ACC in assists (11) and assists per game (0.61) that year, and ranked 10th in the conference in points (17).
• He ranked third in the country in assists per game and fourth in assists.
• Last year, Lewis was an All-ACC Second Team player with three goals and three assists.
ENSTROM EMERGES
• Freshman Simon Enstrom scored half of his 14 points in two matches against Boston University and #23 SMU.
• He scored twice in Boston College's 3-2 win at BU on August 31. He scored in the 16th minute and notched the game-winner to break a 2-2 tie in the 80th minute.
• He then recorded a goal and an assist in the Eagles' 4-2 upset win over #23 SMU.
• Enstrom notched his second two-goal game this season when he struck twice in a 2-1 victory over #10 Virginia. He also scored BC's goal at Harvard.
• Enstrom leads BC with six goals and is second with 14 points. He ranks eighth in the ACC in goals scored.
AMPADU'S TWO GOALS
• Senior Atobra Ampadu got his first start of the season against #23 SMU and made it count.
• He scored the Eagles' first two goals just 25 seconds apart to give BC a 2-1 lead in the 24th minute. It was his first two-goal game at Boston College.
• After the Mustangs scored the match's first goal in the 13th minute, Ampadu equalized the match 10 minutes later. He took a pass from freshman Simon Enstrom and sent a cross near the goal line from the right side. The keeper got to it, but deflected it into the back of his own net to make it 1-1.
• Just 25 seconds later, Ampadu had a brilliant strike from more than 30 yards away that beat the diving keeper to give BC a 2-1 lead.
KELLY APPROACHING 300 WINS
• Head coach Ed Kelly has a career record of 299-216-61 in his 31st year of coaching collegiate soccer. His record at BC is 259-203-55 in his 28th season.
• Kelly would become the 19th active coach and the third in the ACC with 300 career coaching victories.
• He currently ranks 43rd all-time in coaching wins with 299.
