Wake Forest scored seven minutes apart in the first half to build a 2-0 lead in the 40th minute.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Wake Forest started with the chances early and held an 8-1 advantage in shots in the first 45. Jack Harrison had three quality looks before connecting on the first goal in the 33rd minute. The Demon Deacons held a long possession in the attacking third as BC couldn't clear, then Ian Harkes fed him and he finished to the right side for the 1-0 lead.
- Wake scored again seven minutes later when Tane Gent sent home a deflected ball.
- The Deacons continued the scoring in the 58th minute when Brad Dunwell pushed a short cross to Jon Bakero. He crossed it into the box where Kevin Politz headed it past the keeper.
- Harrison added his second goal of the match in the 67th minute and then Jared Odenbeck connected on a penalty kick with eight seconds left to finish it.
