BC HIGHLIGHTS
Junior Nicole Boudreau came out of her shooting slump as she scored 21 points and grabbed six boards while sophomore Kelly Hughes chipped in with 18 points and four steals. Second-year forward Emilee Daley added 12 points in her third start of the season. Freshman Ashley Kelsick notched 13 points and had four boards and two steals.
HOW IT HAPPENED
• The second half the lead changed five times in the first 10 minutes. BC held a four point lead on a lay-up by Boudreau but two straight turnovers results in four points for Tech and the score was tied at 54-54.
• Nicole Boudreau hit two straight three's to tie the game at 62-62 with 8:11 to play. Georgia Tech's Kaela Davis hit a long three to give her team a 3 point lead with 7:17 to play.
• Ashley Kelsick's three-point play gave BC a 74-71 lead with just under four minutes left in the game. Aaliyah Whiteside hit an off-balance shot to cut the lead to one point. Tech tied the game for the 10th time at 74-74 with less than four to play on a foul shot.
• A missed layup by BC led to Georgia Tech's next possession. Tech missed and BC tied the game on a reverse by Hughes, 76-76.
• Boudreau was fouled on a drive and at the line with 1:08 to play and down, 78-76. Boudreau hit one shot and fouled on the rebound with BC down one, 78-77, with 1:06 to play. After a missed foul shot Roddreka Rogers extended the G-Tech lead on a put back, 80-77. A long three at the buzzer just went off the rim at the buzzer.
• Georgia Tech took a, 20-11, as the Eagles with 11:57 to play in the half. Georgia Tech was shooting over 50 percent, while BC shot 37 percent.
• BC's 7-0 run with 7:40 to play cut the Yellow Jackets lead to seven points.
• BC took the lead on a three-point play by Ashley Kelsick with less than five minutes to play - 32-30.
• A three by Kelsick gave BC a 39-35 lead with 2:18 to play. A three by Kaela Davis cut the lead to one point.
• The Eagles held a 39-38 lead at the half. BC shot 48.3 percent at the half while Georgia Tech 52.2 percent. Karima Gabriel had nine points while Kelly Hughes and Ashley Kelsick had eight points apiece.
