HOW IT HAPPENED
- BC had five turnovers in the first seven minutes and went down, 27-13, to Notre Dame. BC's offense struggled as Notre Dames defense continued to pressure.
- The lead grew to 25 points as Notre Dame out-scored the Eagles, 10-3, in a two minute span with 5:20 to play.
- BC was down, 58-24, at the half as the Eagles shot just 36 percent and had 16 turnovers. BC did shoot 6-for-9 from the three-point line at the half. The Eagles also had just seven rebounds while Notre Dame had 20.
- Kelly Hughes opened the second half with two threes but the Eagles fell behind, 69-30, as BC committed three turnovers in the first five minutes.
- Cable hit a long three with just under 13 minutes to play and BC was down, 78-30. A free throw by Kat Cooper ended the Eagles drought with 12:21 to play.
- Boston College was out-scored, 24-9, in the first 10 minutes of the second half - BC 33, Notre Dame 82.
