HOW IT HAPPENED
- Duke made the first run of the game when an 11-4 spurt gave it a 21-12 lead with 11:41 left in the half.
- Boston College responded with six-straight points to cut it back to 21-18. Heckmann hit a 3-pointer during that stretch.
- The Blue Devils closed out the half with a 17-4 run over the final 10:27 to take a 38-22 lead into the break.
- A 9-2 Boston College run brought the deficit to 50-40 a little more than five minutes into the second half. Hanlan scored six of the nine points.
- With the Blue Devils still holding a 10-point lead, they rattled off 14 unanswered points to build a 67-43 advantage and put the game out of reach.
