Bloomfield, Conn. - The Boston College men's golf team won the CCSU Blue Devils Fall Invitational with a combined score of 562, while the BC Men's B team placed fifth with a combined score of 590 in the two day event at Wintonbury Hills Golf Course in Connecticut on Sunday and Monday.

The real story was the individual competition as BC's Nick Pandelena and Connor Greenleaf finished the two day tournament shooting 138. On the first Day Greenleaf posted a 68, while Pandelena shot a 70. The scores were reversed on Monday so the two played in a playoff.

Pandelena finished the two days with nine birdies and 21 pars. In the final day of competition, he birdied three holes in the front nine for a -2. In the back nine, though he had just one birdie, Pandelena had seven pars and made one mistake in the par three on 17.
Greenleaf was strong on the first day as he had six birdies on the day, including four consecutive in the front nine. On day two, Greenleaf had 14 pars but just two birdies.
Patrick Hallisey had a strong tournament as he shot a 71 on the first day and a 70 on the second day to place fifth overall. He finished the two-days with five birdies and 25 pars.
