Lacrosse Tabbed No. 5 in IWLCA Poll

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass.-  Boston College lacrosse has been tabbed No. 5 in the recent IWLCA Poll. This is the first time in program history that the Eagles have been ranked in the top five.

The Eagles entered the preseason sitting 13^th, but slowly climbed up the charts due to their 6-1 start. Boston College’s only loss this season came against No. 2/3 Syracuse.

The last time BC was ranked in the top 10 was in 2011 when it finished the regular season as the 9^th-ranked team. The Eagles earned their first NCAA Tournament bid in program history that same season.

Boston College returns to action on Saturday, March 15 as it travels to Buffalo, N.Y., to take on Canisius at noon.
