Senior RHP Eric Stevens (0-1) will pitch Friday's 6:30 p.m. game after throwing six innings on Feb. 14 against Nevada, allowing just two hits, two runs, two walks and striking out two. While the Eagles dropped the first game of the season, they rebounded to win the next three.

He allowed just one run and one hit against Nevada in five innings of work, while striking out four and walking two. Sophomores LHP Jesse Adams and RHP John Nicklas tallied saves during the first weekend of the season, while classmate Chris Shaw led the Eagles with a .375 batting average, six hits - including a double in each game and a home run - four RBIs and a .813 slugging percentage, earning Eagle of the Week honors for his efforts. He and junior Blake Butera tallied at least one hit in all of BC's first four games.
The Hatters started the season 0-3, dropping the first three games to Ole Miss at home. In a Wednesday night contest at FIU, Stetson could not tally their first win, falling, 5-2.
