NESN to Preview BC's trip to the Pinstripe Bowl

Boston College fans can get primed and ready for the football team's tussle with Penn State at the New Era Pinstripe when NESN premieres the "BC Pinstripe Bowl Preview Show" on Sunday, December 21 at 10:30 p.m., after NESN Sports Today.
Hosted by Jon Meterparel, the 30-minute special will take an in-depth look at the Eagles and the team's upcoming match-up against Penn State at Yankee Stadium on December 27.
The "BC Pinstripe Bowl Preview Show" will include:
- A look back at Boston College's 2014 season
- An overview of Penn State and their season to date
- A behind-the-scenes look at an Eagles football practice, including mic'd up players
- Head coach Steve Addazio and players discussing the New Era Pinstripe Bowl and what it means to the Eagles
After premiering on Sunday, the "BC Pinstripe Bowl Preview Show" will re-air on NESN several times leading up the December 27 game. The current re-air schedule is as follows:
- Tuesday, December 23 at 5 p.m.
- Wednesday, December 24 at 2 p.m.
- Friday, December 26 at 7 p.m.
- Saturday, December 27 at 4 p.m., immediately before the game
The New Era Pinstripe Bowl will be played on December 27 at 4:30 p.m. The game will be televised on ESPN and ESPN Radio. The Boston College IMG Sports Radio Network will also carry the game.
This will be the second time Boston College (7-5, 4-4 ACC) makes a trip to a postseason bowl under second-year head coach Steve Addazio, and the Eagles' 14th appearance in the last 16 seasons.
The Eagles have faced the Nittany Lions (6-6, 2-6 Big Ten) 22 times with the first meeting in 1949. Penn State dominated the series, winning the first 19 of 20 games. The Eagles have won the last three matchups in 1993, 2003 and 2004. The two teams have never met on neutral territory.
