HOW IT HAPPENED
- Boston College held an early 12-5 lead but Marist went on a 13-6 run to tie it at 18-18 with 8:55 left in the first half.
- BC bumped the lead back up to eight, 33-25, at the 5:00 mark. Brown had seven of the points in the 15-7 spurt.
- The Eagles would take a 41-36 lead into the half.
- Boston College went on a 16-6 run early in the second half over 6:38 to build a 57-44 lead. Batten started the run with a pair of 3-pointers.
- The Eagles would hold on from there as the Red Foxes never got closer than 12 points in the final 12 minutes. The BC lead reached as many as 18 points with five minutes left.
