HOW IT HAPPENED
- Boston College scored the first seven points of the game in the initial three minutes. Hanlan scored five of the points.
- AIC scored five-straight points to cut the lead to 14-10 with 13:54 left in the half.
- BC responded with 16 unanswered points to build a 29-13 lead at the 8:00 media timeout. Graduate student Dimitri Batten led the charge with four of the points.
- That started a 31-6 run over the last 13 minutes that gave the Eagles a 47-19 halftime lead.
- The Eagles' lead reached as many as 36 early in the second half and the closest AIC got was 26 points.
