HOW IT HAPPENED
• Boston College held a 56-53 lead with 4:47 to play in regulation.
• Maine tied the game at 56-56 on a old fashion three-point play by Sigi Koizar.
• The Eagles went up, 58-56, on a layup by Karima Gabriel with 1:23 to play. Maine tied the game 24 second mark. BC had a chance to win it but Nicole Boudreau's layup rimmed out.
• In overtime, BC was outscored 11-6.
• BC fell behind, 22-15 on a 14-0 run by Maine in the first half.
• The Eagles took the lead at the half on a 19-9 run. In the run, Hughes hit three three's while Emily Daley had an old fashion three-point play.
