Double Victory for BC

Chestnut Hill, Mass. - Boston College Sailing competed for both the Nickerson Trophy and the Victorian Coffee Urn this weekend and were victorious in both inter-conference regattas.

RESULTS
Tufts hosted the interconference regatta November 1-2, 2014. Teams sailed Lark boats and competed in 2 divisions. Boston College came out victorious with a total score of 82, followed in second place by Roger Williams University with a total score of 97. Boston College had 4 freshman sailing and they did an excellent job. In Division A, Scott Sinks '18 and Lily McGrath '18 with a score of 44. In Division B, Drake Lyon '18 and Isabelle du Moulin '18 came in first place with a score of 38.
Victorian Coffee Urn
RESULTS
Dartmouth hosted the interconference regatta November 1-2, 2014. Teams competed in FJ boats and raced in 2 divisions. Boston College took another victory. The total score was 89, followed not-so-closely in second place by Yale with a score of 105. In Divison A, Erika Reineke '16 and Elizabeth Barnard '15 came in second place behind Yale with a score of 46. In Division B, Ally Donahue '17, Katherine Downey '16, Emily Schalka '15 and Madde Loosbrock '17 came in first place with a score of 43, followed by Brown with 47.
Next up, Boston College Sailing will compete for the Hap Moore Trophy on November 9th.
