Volleyball Falls To No. 8 Florida State

The Eagles (6-9 ACC, 11-15) dropped a three-set match to No. 8 Florida State (13-2 ACC, 25-2) on Friday evening in Tallahassee, Fla. In the 3-0 loss, Katty Workman led the offense recording 15 kills and eight digs. Topor’s double-double of 11 kills and 12 digs was not enough to assist the Eagles in earning a victory over the tough Seminole team.
Senior setter Kellie Barnum had 23 assists, while her counterpart, Mallori Moffat had 13 assists. Libero Courtney Castle recorded 12 of the team’s 53 digs.
The Eagles tallied 7.0 total team blocks, while FSU recorded 12.5 total team blocks.
BC is back in action on Sunday in Coral Gables, Fla. at 1:00 p.m. when they face the University of Miami. Earlier this season, the Eagles dropped a three-set match to the Hurricanes at home.
