Softball Releases 2015 Schedule

Included in the Eagles’ 2015 schedule are competitive matchups against ten 2014 NCAA Tournament participants: Bryant, Wisconsin, Florida A&M, South Florida, University of Central Florida, Florida State, Notre Dame, Louisville, Boston University, and Virginia Tech.
BC opens its season on Friday, Feb. 6 with a three-day, five-game tournament at the University of Central Florida in which the Eagles will play three games against George Mason and two against UCF.
Boston College then travels to Georgia Southern University the following weekend for a five-game tournament in which it will face Tennessee Tech, Campbell, Georgia Southern, and Binghamton twice.
The Eagles will play their third tournament down south at Coastal Carolina starting on Feb. 20. Opponents include Sacred Heart, Coastal Carolina, Bucknell, and Murray State.
ACC play begins on the road as BC takes on Florida State at JoAnne Graf Field in a double-header on Feb. 28 and a game the following day on Mar. 1.
Boston College will head to the University of Southern Florida for the USF Under Armour Showcase from Mar. 4-8 in which the Eagles will face USF, Western Michigan, St. Joe’s, Central Michigan, Portland State, and Wisconsin.
BC plays its home opener on Mar. 21 as it hosts ACC opponent Syracuse for a three game series at Shea Softball Field.
The Eagles will take on regional opponents UConn (Mar. 26), BU (Mar. 31, Apr. 8), Rhode Island (Apr. 1), Harvard (Apr. 7), UMass-Lowell (Apr. 9), UMass-Amherst (Apr. 28), Providence (Apr. 29), and Bryant (Apr. 30) during the season.
Virginia Tech will host the ACC Tournament in Blacksburg, Va. which runs from May 7-9.
