BC HIGHLIGHTS
• Sophomore Kelly Hughes had 24 points, seven rebounds and six assists, including a three-pointer in the final minute to seal the win.
• Junior Nicole Boudreau had 12 second half points and finished with 15 points, nine rebounds and six assists. She hit back-to-back three's to give BC the lead for good late in the game.
• Junior Kat Cooper scored 10 of her 13 points in the second half.
TURNING POINT
BC came back from a 13 point deficit. In the final 11 minutes of the game, BC turned the ball over just once and outscored St. Mary's, 39-16.
HOW IT HAPPENED
• After shooting just 35 percent from the field, BC shot 45.5 percent from the floor.
• The Eagles hit four three's in the final nine minutes, including back-to-back three-pointers by Nicole Boudreau with 3:19 to play gave BC the lead for good.
• In the run, freshman Ashley Kelsick sparked a four-point run when she stole the ball and went the length of the floor for a layup, BC 67, SMC 65. Kat Cooper followed with a steal and Kelsick hit her for the lay-in to keep the run alive.
• Boston College outscored St. Mary's, 50-37, in the second half.
• The Eagles scored 21 points off turnovers and had 14 second chance points.
• At the 14 minutes mark BC had two freshmen, two sophomores and a junior on the floor.

TEAM NOTES
• Kelly Hughes reached her career-high with 24 points. She went 6-for-16 from the floor, 4-for-13 from the three-point line but more importantly 8-for-8 from the free throw line. Hughes also had seven rebounds and matched her career-high with six assists.
• Emilee Daley earned her first start and had six points, two rebounds and steal in 15 minutes of action.
• Karima Gabriel came off the bench with seven points and six rebounds. The bench combined for 27 points.
• BC shot a program-high 38 three-pointers in the game. BC hit only 11 and shot 28.9 percent for the game.
• Freshman Katie Quandt picked up her second career start vs. St. Mary's.
