BC HIGHLIGHTS

Junior Lonnie Jackson scored a team-high 18 points and went 6-for-9 from beyond the arc.

Junior Ryan Anderson recorded 14 points and five rebounds.

Sophomore Olivier Hanlan had 13 points and six assists. Classmate Joe Rahon registered nine points, six rebounds and four assists.

TURNING POINT
Boston College held a 51-46 lead, but Syracuse scored 14 unanswered points over the span of 4:04 in the second half to take a 60-51 lead with 6:05 left.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Syracuse made the first run of the game, an 8-1 spurt that gave it a 16-8 lead at the 12:18 mark.

Boston College responded with an 11-2 run to take a 19-18 lead. Sophomore Joe Rahon hit a pair of 3-pointers in the stretch.

The Orange scored 10 unanswered points over 2:26 to take a 32-23 lead with 2:28 left in the first half.

BC closed the half by scoring the last seven points to cut the lead to 32-30.

Syracuse led 35-30, then BC went on a 15-2 run to take a 45-37 lead with 15:52 left.

The Orange whittled the lead down and then scored 14 unanswered to take a 60-51 lead.

The Eagles only got as close as six the rest of the way.

It was the first sellout in Conte Forum since February 19, 2012 against Duke.
