Rowing Competes in Historic Henley Women's Regatta

Henley-on-Thames, England - The Boston College rowing team competed in the historic Henley Women's Regatta over the weekend.
On Saturday, the Eagles raced in four events. The Elite 4- (A) crew recorded the closest race of the day against Tideway Scullers, who won with a time of 6:06. The Elite 4- (B) raced put up a good fight, but lost to Cambridge University, who registered a time of 6:01. The Senior 8+ raced strong, especially in the first 250 meters, but lost to University College Dublin. The Elite 2- raced against Newcastle University, who won with a time of 7:04.
On Sunday, the Elite 4 teams combined to form the Elite 8 to race against a composite crew which includes some members of the Under-23 National Team. The national team earned the victory in a time of 5:10.
