Chestnut Hill, Mass. - The Boston College baseball team's home opening series against No. 1 North Carolina, originally scheduled to be played Friday through Sunday at Eddie Pellagrini Diamond at Commander Shea Field, has been moved to Chapel Hill, N.C., due to unplayable field conditions after a recent snowfall in the Boston area.
The series will begin with a doubleheader on Saturday with first pitch set for noon. The second game will follow 40 minutes after the conclusion of game one. The finale is set for 1 p.m. on Sunday.
The Eagles (3-15, 0-6 ACC) will remain the "home team" against the top-ranked Tar Heels (18-1, 5-1 ACC).
BC will look to open the home slate with a scheduled, non-conference matchup against Bryant on Wednesday, March 27.
