Boston College senior linebacker Kevin Pierre-Louis has earned Atlantic Coast Conference Linebacker of the Week honors after his career-high 18-tackle performance against Army, the league announced on Monday.

A 6-foot-1, 225-pound product of Norwalk, Conn., Pierre-Louis surpassed his previous high of 17 tackles at Northwestern (Sept. 15, 2012) and has now registered 10 (or more) tackles three times this season and 13 times in his 36-game collegiate career. He ranks second among ACC tacklers with 50 tackles in five games, has recorded a league-high 28 solo tackles.

Pierre-Louis is a 2012 All-ACC honorable mention honoree who has registered 304 tackles in 36 games (8.4 tackles per game).

Boston College (3-2, 1-1 ACC Atlantic), which beat Army 48-27 on Oct. 5, returns to action at No. 3 Clemson (5-0, 3-0 ACC Atlantic) on Saturday, Oct. 12, 2013 at 3:30 p.m. The game will be televised on ABC (regionally) and ESPN2 (nationally).
