Davenport, Javorski Earn Football Scholarships

Boston College defensive back Ted Davenport and running back Mike Javorski have earned full scholarships, according to an announcement made by head football coach Frank Spaziani.

Davenport is a 6-foot-2, 209-pound product of Medway, Mass. Javorski is a 5-foot-7, 175-pound product of LaGrange, Ill. and St. Ignatius Prep. Both players were formerly walk-on players on the football team.
Javorksi is a biology major and Davenport is a finance major who served as an orientation leader for the Boston College First-Year Experience program during the summer months of 2012.
There are eight days to season's kickoff when Boston College hosts Miami in its season opener on Saturday, Sept. 1 at 3:30 p.m. in Alumni Stadium.
