Rowing to Race for Irving-Christensen Cup

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. -
Boston College rowing will compete against Holy Cross and UMass on Saturday, April 7 on Lake Quinsigamond in Worcester, Mass.
The Eagles Varsity Eight will race against Holy Cross for the Irving-Christensen Cup. Last season, Holy Cross earned the award in its inaugural year. UMass will also enter a boat in the Varsity Eight, but will not be considered for the cup.
The BC Third Varsity Eight, which is coming off of a win last week in Rhode Island, will be the first Eagles’ boat to race on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. against UMass. The Second Varsity Eight follows at 10:10 a.m. and is looking for a win after a tough loss to UMass last week.
The Varsity Four, Varsity Four B and the Novice Eight will round out the day for BC. The Eagles will be launching out of the Donahue Rowing Center.

10:00 a.m. – Third Varsity Eight, against UMass only (Lane 2)
10:10 a.m. – Second Varsity Eight (Lane 3)
10:20 a.m. – Varsity Eight, Irving-Christensen Cup (Lane 1)
10:30 a.m. – Varsity Four (Lane 3)
10:40 a.m. – Varsity Four B, against UMass only (Lane 1)
10:50 a.m. – Novice Eight (Lane 1)
