Boston College lacrosse will host Vermont on Wednesday, April 4 at 4 p.m. The game will take place at the Eagles' Newton Sports Complex.

2012 Season Notes
Boston College Notes
• BC currently owns a 5-6 overall record. Last week, the Eagles fell, 12-10, to Virginia after the Cavaliers mounted a second-half comeback on March 31.
• The Eagles are currently tabbed at No. 20 in the nation according to the IWLCA coaches' poll released on April 2.
• Boston College holds a 5-1 record so far this season when the team leads at the half.
• The Eagles have been a threat on the draw so far this season. With 157 draw controls in 2012, BC is ranked 15th in the nation.
• Freshmen Covie Stanwick and Mikaela Rix lead the offensive effort for BC. Stanwick is first on the team in assists (15) and total points (35), while Rix has a team-high 30 goals.
• Grad student and captain Kristin Igoe continues to make her mark in the BC history books. She currently sits in third place on the school's all-time record lists for total points (191) and goals (146), and is nine points shy of becoming just the third Eagle ever to record 200 career points.
• Senior Brittany Wilton has 41 draw controls so far this season, good for 37th in the nation and first place on BC's all-time career record list (177).
• Junior Brooke Blue and senior Sam Taylor have added to the Eagles' attack this season with 24 and 17 points, respectively.
• Blue and Wilton are currently tied for 10th place on BC's career points list with 127.
• Freshman goalkeeper Emily Mata leads the Eagles with 54 saves and a .446 save percentage.
Scouting Vermont
• Vermont is currently 8-3 overall. The Catamounts have won four-consecutive games, including an 18-8 decision against UNH on March 31 and a 16-13 decision against UC Davis on March 29.
• Samantha Stern and Sydney Mas lead the offensive attack for the Catamounts. Stern is first on the team with 30 assists and 47 total points, while Mas has 44 points so far.
• Goalkeeper Laura Barber was named the America East Defensive Player of the Week for the second time this season on April 2. She led Vermont to a 2-0 week, totaling 23 saves with a .523 save percentage.
Series History
• Wednesday's contest will mark the ninth meeting all-time between Boston College and Vermont. The Eagles lead the series, 6-2.
• BC has won six consecutive meetings against UVM, dating back to 1996. The Eagles earned a 20-8 decision when the teams last squared off on April 17, 2011.
