CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Boston College rowing heads to Camden, N.J. to compete for the Knecht Cup on Saturday and Sunday, April 14-15. The Eagles will race in nine events during the two-day event.
The Varsity Four will race against 37 other crews, which is the largest field of competition for all of the BC boats racing this weekend. The Varsity Eight, Second Varsity Eight, and Freshmen Eight are also racing against large fields of about 30 crews each.
BC has three crews entered in the Second Varsity Four event. These crews will square off against 11 others for a spot in the six-boat final.
For the first time this spring, BC will also race two quads. Seniors Erin Roche and Emily Charnowski will each lead a BC quad down the course in a four-boat final with Duke and UMass.
