View Lacrosse Magazine’s entire Preseason Top 20

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The Boston College lacrosse program continues to gain attention this preseason, as the 2012 squad was tabbed at No. 8 in Lacrosse Magazine’s Preseason Top 20 on Dec. 29.

The No. 8 ranking marks the program’s highest preseason ranking in program history. This is the squad’s second top-10 preseason ranking heading into 2012, as the Eagles were ranked No. 10 by Inside Lacrosse on Dec. 7.

Four other ACC teams are ranked in Lacrosse Magazine’s Top 20. Maryland sits at No. 2, while North Carolina and Duke round out the top five at No. 3 and No. 4, respectively. Virginia is ranked sixth.

BC opens its season on Friday, Feb. 17 at Holy Cross. The game is scheduled for 4 p.m.
