Men's Soccer Defeats Holy Cross In Exhibition

WORCESTER, Mass. - Junior F Charlie Rugg scored the game's lone goal to lead the Boston College men's soccer team to a 1-0 win against Holy Cross in an exhibition match Tuesday night.
Rugg scored with 24:59 left in the second half to give the Eagles the victory. Senior M Steve Rose, a transfer from Seton Hall, assisted on the tally.
Boston College will hold one more exhibition on Saturday morning when it hosts Northeastern at 11 a.m. at the Newton Campus Field.
The Eagles open the regular season on Friday, August 26 when they host George Mason at 4 p.m.
