Da'Loia-Moore Continues U23 World Championship

Amsterdam - Boston College sophomore Alycia Da'Loia-Moore finished in 8:11.64, taking fifth place of the second repechage in the women's single sculls competition at the U23 World Rowing Championship on Friday morning on the Bosbaan Regatta Course.
Nicole Beukers (Netherlands) led from start to finish and took the heat in 7:45.46, narrowly defeating Lisa Dilleen (Ireland) in second at 7:45.81. Aikaterini Nikolaidou (Greece) took third in 7:52.71. All three scullers advance to tomorrow's semifinal round.
Moving on from the first repechage are Nataliya Dovgodko (Ukraine) with a 7:55.97 clip, Madeleine Edmunds (Austria) in 7:57.79 and Anne Andersen (Denmark), who finished third in 8:08.78.
The first three finishers from each semifinal will advance to Sunday's final. Da'Loia-Moore will compete in the C Final on Saturday at approximately 2:12 p.m (8:12 ET).
