The No. 14/16 Boston College women's lacrosse team takes on No. 3/4 Duke Saturday, and looks to build off a strong performance against Virginia last week, defeating the Cavaliers 12-6 for their first ACC victory this season.
While Boston College defeated Virginia, Duke fell to No. 2 Northwestern last week.
The Eagles have moved up to fourth place in the ACC standings with a league record of 1-3 and an overall record of 8-4. Duke is 2-1 in ACC play and in third place with an overall record of 9-2.
Boston College hasn't beaten Duke since joining the ACC six years ago and looks to get its second ACC win, as this is the final conference game this season for the Eagles.
The Eagles have outscored their opponents this season, 147-117, with four Eagles scoring 20 or more goals for the year. Kristin Igoe leads the way for BC with 32 goals, Moira Barry has 27 goals, Brittany Wilton has 25 goals and Brooke Blue has 20 goals.
Saturday's game also marks Senior Day for the Eagles. Boston College will honor four seniors before the game: Jill Rekart, Hannah Alley, Jill Amo, and Sheila Serafino.
Boston College will play its final home game, Wednesday April 13 at 4:00 p.m. when they host Boston University.
