Chestnut Hill, MA- The No. 14 Boston College women's lacrosse team will host Boston University in their last home game of the season on Wednesday, April 13. Boston College is 8-5 overall and 1-4 in the ACC while the Terriers are 6-5 on the season and 2-1 in the America East Conference.
Dating back to 2004, Boston University leads the series 5-2, with BC winning last year's matchup, 18-11.
Both teams are coming off loses from this weekend. The Eagles lost 14-11to ACC opponent Duke, while BU lost in double overtime to New Hampshire.
The Eagles continue to get steady performances from junior Brittany Wilton and sophomore Brooke Blue. Wilton has been filling up the stat sheet this season, with 69 draw controls, 27 goals, 10 assists and 18 groundballs. Blue has scored six goals in the Eagles' last three games, scoring three in the win over Virginia. Senior Jill Rekart, sophomore Jessie Coffield and junior Kate Collins anchor the BC defense.
The Eagles will travel to Vermont on Sunday, April 17, to face the Catamounts at 1:00 p.m. before traveling to Cary, NC for the ACC Championship.
