Track & Field Completes ECAC Championship

BOSTON - Sophomore Erin McKenna ran a personal best of 2:09.98 for third place in the half mile contest to highlight the Boston College women's track and field team that finished with 11 points at the ECAC Indoor Championship on March 6.
Sophomore Elizabeth O'Brien also submitted a personal record of 17:01.69 in the 5,000-meter run. The Chappaqua, N.Y. native completed the contest for fifth place, adding four points to the Eagles tally.
In the 1,000-meters, senior Siobhan Breagy scored one point for Boston College. After qualifying on day one with a time of 2:52.39, the Exeter, R.I. product contested her second race in 2:53.31 for eighth place.
Senior Hope Krause was clocked at a personal record time in the mile qualifier, 4:56.51, before returning to run a 4:57.86 and take ninth place in the finals.
The Eagles will be off until beginning the outdoor campaign at the Northeastern Husky Spring Open on March 19.
