The No. 20 Boston College women's lacrosse team will host ACC foe, No. 1 Maryland on Sunday March 20. The Terrapins are undefeated this season with a record or 7-0 and 2-0 in conference play. The Eagles are 7-1 and 0-1 in the ACC, with their only loss to Virginia Tech last week.
In the last meeting, Maryland, the defending National Champions, defeated BC 7-6.
Boston College is coming off a 15-10 victory at home against Harvard. Hannah Alley had four goals for the Eagles, while Kristin Igoe and Brittany Wilton each had three goals.
The Eagles are led offensively by Igoe with 23 goals and eight assists and freshman Moira Barry isn't far behind with 22 goals and four assists.
Game notes:
Senior Kristin Igoe currently has 98 career goals, placing her eighth on BC's all time scoring list. Igoe now has 127 points.
The Eagles will next travel to North Carolina on Saturday, March 26 at 1:00 p.m.
