Chris Ager Earns All-ACC Academic Team Recognition

Boston College freshman Chris Ager has earned All-Atlantic Coast Conference Academic Team honors, according to a league announcement made on Friday.
Ager is a 6-foot-1, 171-pound central defender from Gjettum, Norway who played in 15 games in 2010. He earned All-ACC Freshmen Team accolades and served as team co-captain as a second-semester freshman (Ager enrolled at Boston College in the Spring of 2010). He is also the 27th Boston College recipient of the prestigious Tom McElroy Award.
To be eligible for consideration for the All-ACC Academic team, a student-athlete must have earned a 3.0 grade point average for the previous semester and maintained a 3.0 cumulative average during his academic career.
