Sailing Scores Sherman Hoyt Trophy

Despite a difficult day on the Providence River, Boston College sailing was able to win the Sherman Hoyt Trophy. The top three teams finished within six points of one another; BC scored a 72, just ahead of Yale's 75 and Charleston's 78.

Seniors Anne Haeger and Emily Massa raced Division A. Their 39 points was 13 behind lead-scoring Tufts.

Freshman William Bailey and junior Molly Clarke took control in Division B, scoring 33 points. Their score was good for first, and was seven points ahead of Old Dominion University, who finished second in the division.
