Reggie Jackson Shares ACC Player of the Week Honors

Junior guard Reggie Jackson shared Atlantic Coast Conference Player of the Week honors after averaging 25.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 2.0 blocked shots per game in two games last week. The weekly award, announced by the league office, is decided by a vote of a 10-member media panel.
Jackson shared the honor with Florida State junior Chris Singleton. This marks the second conference accolade for Jackson this year. He also collected Player of the Week honors on Dec. 13.
The Eagles defeated NC State, 75-66, and lost to Miami, 72-71, last week.
Jackson shot 16-of-29 from the floor (.551), including 6-of-13 from behind the arc, and 13-of-16 from the foul line (.813).
The Colorado Springs, Colo., resident totaled 29 points, five rebounds and six assists against NC State on Jan. 11. He shot 9-for-13 from the field, including 3-for-6 from three-point range, in the game. He also blocked three shots.
In the game at Miami on Jan. 15, Jackson tallied 22 points, five rebounds and four assists. He shot 7-for-16 from the floor, including 3-for-7 from long range.
Jackson currently ranks among ACC leaders in seven categories (conference games only): scoring (second, 23.0 ppg), field-goal percentage (first, .630), three-point field-goal percentage (third, .556), assists (tied-fourth, 4.5), three-point field goals made (fifth, 2.5), free-throw percentage (tied-eighth, .889) and blocked shots (tied-10th, 1.5)
Boston College (13-5, 3-1 ACC) returns to action on Wednesday, January 19 against Virginia. Game time is 7 p.m. in Conte Forum.
