Rowing Welcomes 18 New Faces

Chestnut Hill, MA - Eighteen incoming student-athletes will join the Boston College women's rowing team in September 2010 as announced by Eagles Head Coach Steve Fiske. Natalie Bowen, Karen Campbell, Melissa Chavez, Olivia Ciardi, Cara Coash, Meghan Costopoulos, Nora Curran, Alycia Daloia-Moore, Katya Francel, Rebecca Henriquez, Ellen Keenan, Lauren Leckenby, Emily Lewis, Kathryn McKennon, Caroline Mitton, Stephanie Ragland, Meghan Smith, and Maddie Whitehead make up a talented group of incoming freshmen for the 2010 rowing team at the Heights.
"The team is very excited to welcome a strong and deep class of freshmen this fall", said Fiske. "This group has demonstrated positive energy and enthusiasm to succeed academically and athletically at BC, which is consistent with our program goals. All of them have been very successful in their respective programs and a number of these student-athletes have experienced success in sculling and smaller boats, which will really help them compete at the collegiate level next year."
