Marchiando/Friis Team Race
Boston College added another title to its resume as the sailing team won the Marchiando/Friis Team Race on Mystic Lake.
The Eagles were led by junior Tyler Sinks, junior Emily Migliaccio, senior Evan Cook, sophomore Emily Massa, sophomore Annie Haeger, junior Jucy Wallace, senior Christian Manchester and junior Danny Bloomstine.
Two round robin runs were completed after day one of racing. Tufts, Roger Williams, Yale and Navy returned to Tufts on Sunday to compete against BC, St. Mary's, Brown and MIT in the Gold Cup. BU, Conn and Salve will join Harvard, Vermont and Dartmouth at MIT tomorrow for the Silver Cup.
Boston College finished the weekend with a 12-5 race to win earn first place. Tufts was second (11-6), while Yale (11-6) placed third. Roger Williams was fourth (9-8), St. Mary's (8-6) followed in fifth and Brown placed sixth (5-9).

2010 BU President's Trophy
Ten teams took the water on the weekend of April 10-11 to battle for the President's Cup on the Charles River in Boston, MA. Boston College finished in second place as Eckerd College earned the 2010 President's Cup Race. Vermont finished third, while Yale was fourth and BU placed fifth.
In the A Division, senior Briana Provancha and junior Katy Nastro placed fourth with 53 points. In the B Division, freshman Stephanie Hudson and junior Laura Ann Keller placed third with 34 points.
