Rowing Places in Three Events At Head of the Charles

BOSTON, Mass. - The Boston College women's rowing team participated in the 46th annual Head of the Charles race this past weekend, posting top 25 finishes in its three events.
The Women's Club 4 boat (coxswain Jasmine Howard, stroke seat Melissa Chavez, 3 seat Natalie Bowen, 2 seat Emily Lewis, and bow Alycia Da'Loia-Moore) raced in windy, cold conditions on Saturday and finished 11th with a time of 20:46.3.
Also on Saturday was the Women's Club 8 race (coxswain Jane Mieczkowski, stroke Victoria Von Rinteln, 7-Sarah Loiselle, 6-Kathryn McKennon, 5-Erica Jennings, 4-Rachel Perris, 3-Caroline Mitton, 2-Victoria Goetz and 1-India Dubois). The boat finished 25th win a time of 19:47.67.
On Sunday the weather cleared for the Women's Championship 8 race (coxswain Brigid Morrissey, 8-Erin Roche, 7-Meg Carmody, 6-Laura Petty, 5-Erin Flaherty, 4-Stephanie Seitz, 3-Emily Charnowski, 2-Kelly Williams and bowseat Chenny Zhang), which finished 23rd with a time of 17.18.88.
