Men's Track & Field Competes In Harvard Invitational

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - The Boston College men's track and field team competed in the Harvard Invitational on January 16 on the campus of Harvard University. The Eagles finished the event with 18 individual top-10 finishes.
Junior tri-captain Mark Domaracki got the Eagles off to a good start taking first place in the 400m dash with a time of 49.32. Sophomore Brian Smith finished right on Domaracki's heals in second place with a time of 50.67.
Another captain kept the run going as junior tri-captain Ian Thomas took home the Eagles second first place finish as he won the 800m run with a time of 1:54.99. Freshman Louis Serafini came in second place in the 800m crossing the line at 1:55.07.
The last of the tri-captains senior Timothy Ritchie took home his second first place finish of the season by winning the 3000m run with a time of 8:22.94. Junior Philip Woerner turned in a solid effort of his own finishing in second place in the 3000m with a time of 8:30.62.
Sophomore Matt Adetula capped off the Eagles first place finishes on the day with a win in the Men's Long Jump with a jump of 6.80m.
The men are back in action at the Boston University Classic on January 29 in Boston, Mass.
