Softball To Host ALS Awareness Event

The Boston College softball team will be sponsoring a Strike Out ALS event beginning this Sunday at noon when the Eagles take on Florida State in their season finale.

The event will benefit the ALS Association and the Cure ALS Ride For Life program.

A table will be set up beyond the centerfield fence at Shea Field for donations throughout the game. All those that donate will receive a Strike Out ALS wristband, and will be automatically entered into a raffle for a baseball autographed by Curt Schilling.
