On Saturday morning prior to the Jay McGillis Memorial Spring Game, close to 800 Flynn Fund supporters assembled on the floor of Conte Forum to once again enjoy a buffet breakfast with the BC football team.
A player or coach was seated at every table to share stories and insights with guests pertaining to the upcoming season. Coach Spaziani introduced guests to the new coaching staff and Flynn Fund donors were given the opportunity to enter a raffle to win prizes and join selected players on stage to compete in the game show "Two Truths and a Lie." All in attendance were able to learn random facts about Wes Davis, Montel Harris, Thomas Claiborne, Nick Rossi and Jim Ramella during the game as they shared tidbits about themselves that couldn't be found in any media guide. Several fans were also given the opportunity to win sideline passes for the Spring Game.
The Flynn Fund supports scholarships and operating costs for BostonCollege's 31 varsity sports. Last year, over 4,600 alumni, parents and friends contributed more than $21 million to BC Athletics.
